“How do you handle supply chain disruptions or delays?”

Image
“To handle supply chain disruptions or delays, I focus on a proactive and structured approach. First, I ensure early identification of potential risks by closely monitoring shipments, supplier performance, and external factors such as weather or geopolitical issues. In case of a disruption, I immediately assess the impact on timelines and operations, and prioritize critical shipments. I then coordinate with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams to identify alternative solutions , such as rerouting shipments or sourcing from backup vendors. Clear and timely communication with stakeholders and clients is also essential to manage expectations and maintain transparency. Finally, after resolving the issue, I analyze the root cause and implement preventive measures , such as building buffer stock, diversifying suppliers, or improving contingency planning, to reduce the risk of future disruptions.”
